How Do I Do It (Or Not) Naturally?
13 Answers
I take 7 tablets a day (well, when you are 70 time seems to be catching up).
Lately I seem to be having bouts of diarrhea (sorry).
Can anyone suggest a natural remedy(or course of treatment)?
I could go to the GP,but she will only give me more tablets.
Thanks.

Levothyroxine
Metformin
Atorvastatin
Ommeprazole
glimepiride
Jackdaw,I have been taking loperamide, but as I seem to need more and more I wondered if there was something natural.
ummmm,Our pharmacy (nearest) is in the GP's Surgery,so they won't discuss is,but just refer me back to the GP, who is a nice person, but a bit of a "pill pusher"

If the symptoms have just started, could be something in your diet that's causing it.
Take it you've been on the pills quite a while, so unlikely to be side effects of them.
Sqad or someone with medical experience will hopefully know and advise when they come on.
Ummmm's suggestion of asking the pharmacist is a good one too, as is JTH's comment for you to list exactly what tablets you are on, just to rule out side effects problem, as some tablets can cause either constipation or diarrhea. Good luck OldBather

Sqad,
I don't think "Doesn't seem a big deal at the moment" is very helpful, not when you are stuck on the loo about twice a week.(This has been going on for just over a month, sometimes worse than others)
I am coming to the conclusion that something I eat is clashing with one (or more) of the tablets.I think I shall have to cut them out one by one and see what happens.
Everhelpful~I suggested this to the GP, but she won't have it (or change from Omeprazole.) Thanks anyway.
