I copied the recent 3 part series and watched it all in one go last night.
It wasn't so much the story of Bobby but of his wife Tina, it painted her in a good light and Bobby not so, it was no surprise then that the mini series was based on her book, Bobby has no right of reply due to his much too early death, there are two sides to every story.
Has anybody else seen the series, and what do you think?

I agree, there are also a couple of other threads about it. She was so perfect - never put a foot wrong, supported him every step of the way, was stunning looking and never aged. I understand the real Tina was very happy with Michelle Keegan's portrayal, I'm not surprised.
Pretty sure it was an accurate account of their life together. Sir Bobby was a bit of a lad and enjoyed the nightlife, the booze and the ladies.
Thoroughly enjoyed the series, i'm going to get the book now.

You must've watched a different series to me then hammerman, she made herself out to be an all righteous, goody goody, victim throughout the 3 episodes, and that included her mother, and it painted Bobby Moore and his mother to be the bad guys and, as I pointed out in an earlier post, there are 2 sides to this story and unfortunately we will never hear Bobbys side!
But is often the case with celebs.
"Bobby has no right of reply due to his much too early death,...."

He could always employ a ghost writer.
My friend was a also a smalltime "wag" with her and she told us in the 80s how awful Bobby was and he had many lovers, Tina was apparently in love with him and a good wife. I felt sad for him. I met him and the England team in the late 60s and they were all very nice and respectful except Jackie Charlton who was a loveable devil! I worked in the Hendon Hall hotel, where they stayed when playing at Wembley.
I tend not to watch 'real life' dramas as I think a lot of it is speculation or exagerated. I much prefer a good 'made up' drama.
