Yep....I remember always watching TOTP when younger and seeing that very show. That was Leo's gimmick and trademark for a while, and made him interesting and a star. I always liked his voice and his tunes thereafter and still do.
My Dad once saw Roger Daltrey many years ago, in the 70's, fishing in Dorking, Surrey, and had a good chat with him, as they were probably the only two out fishing there on this day.....My Dad was a musician, as well, until retiring, and they chatted about their passion for music and fishing....when he told me, I was gutted, as I used to go fishing quite a bit with him, but didn't go on this day, as in the week and I was at school.
As you might know, Daltrey has his own trout fishery, which he designed many years ago, in the Wealden valley.
Here he is, doing what he does best:-)
