Interesting.

It will lead to the usual conclusions (formed by people with no evidence, but lots of pre-conceived media- constructed theories) - such as 'Well, he probably still did it', 'No smoke without fire,' 'If he's innocent here, he may be innocent there', and so on and so on.

It's difficult to form an opinion without media bias, because that is the only way we receive any information.

It does prove I think, that people can build a life and career based on one fact of their character, and keep one or more other facets totally hidden - which is quite scary.

Emeritus....yes I saw that but in essence, the prosecution case has collapsed.

This shows that juries are able to make decisions based on the facts presented to them and not be influenced by knowledge of previous convictions.

Andy....I don't know whether he is guilty of the latest cases or not, but as he is serving a lengthy sentence for exactly the same sort of offences, I wonder how the CPS thought that they could have obtained a Jury, who were unaware of his past history.

In order to have a retrial, that task will be even more difficult.
