Well...if you were at Bayreuth Tony, then of course its the done thing to see it over 4 consecutive evenings, but a little leeway is given for beginners ! I saw it at Covent Garden over a 2 years period.
As I understand it, once tonights broadcast is finished, then the complete Cycle will be available on the iplayer, with immediate effect.

You have to be a devoted Wagnerite to sit through the whole Ring,even over 4 days.I did (when I was 20,50 years ago)and saw it at Bayreuth.The seats (well mine at least) were hard,and maybe kept me awake.
