Have You Met A Bargain Hunt Expert?

A friend of mine goes to Lewes quite a lot and has met Tim Wonnacot who she said was lovely, just as he is on TV.

Recently she met Thomas plant who was miserable and being very short and huffy with his team , also Phil Serrell was a bit miserable.

Have you met anyone?

I would like to meet Charles Hanson and Christina Trevanion, they both seem really nice but who really knows?

I've also heard that Phil 'Scarfman' Serrell is a bit miserable.

They should make the new permanent host Eric Knowles or Natasha Raskin. All the others should stay as team experts.

I love Charles Hansen. He is so sweet. I agree with Fanriffic. The other new presenters are dire, with the exception of EK and NR.

I almost got an objaaaay on Antiques Roadshow and Geoffrey Mundy was quite charming

I also saw the fella in Asian objaaaayze who reads Japanese but not Chinese at a bus stop ( I was of course in the middle of hailing a taxi) and his comment was: these things need not necessarily make you money

James Braxton lives near us and is the charming and ebullient fellow that he appears on TV,as are his two sons that run a local restaurant (that Daddy bought for them).

I used to love James Lewis but ive not seem him on TV for a while.

so why did Wonnacot get sacked - and not because of his mispronunciation of 'off' and other words....apparently, he demonstrated Clarkson-like symptoms with his team, the production and the contestants......

Now Christina, she can come around here anytime but she comes across as very natural and knowledgable.....I also like Kate Bateman, one of the sexiest women on TV.....

I can't abide that Tim Wonnacot, he likes to think that he is funny but he's not. Bit of Clarkson about him, i'm glad he's out of it now, shame thay keep showing repeats with him in them!!

Anybody remember that episode when Barbie? dropped a china plate in front of Wonnacot and then a second and a third, Wonnacot thinking they were Crown Derby - before he realised that he had been set up.....

I haven't met any of them, but I was good friends with a lady (in France) who had been a schoolmate of Tim Wonnacot. She said that he was always pulling watches etc. out of his pockets and trying to sell them! They sort-of kept in touch.
On a more serious note, this lady's husband committed suicide and Tim got in touch and identified a lot of her bits of china (one being used as a bowl for the cat) as Clariss Cliff. She sent them to him and he realised a very good sum for her and did not charge her anything. Helped a great deal. So I will state that I think Tim to be a good bloke. Don't know anything about the others.

I said to my brother that Clarkson got sacked for swearing at someone - and he said - he also hit him

and that was the same with Wonnacott

Like Clarkson - the job didnt pay badly either

Natasha Raskin is one of the most irritating people on T.V. with her inane giggling but then her Husband is a T.V producer so she has got a head start.I like Christina Trevanion and also Charlie Ross and yes where has James Lewis gone to.
