While hiding from the noise of that vacuum cleaner I was thinking . I believe Trump will resign as president .His advisers do not seem to advise him and he could back himself into a corner ..He set out to be president did it so why would he give himself more hassle . I wish him no ill,but would not surprised to see a new president before the end of the year . What do you think ?

Trump is a d1ck, pure and simple, but he'll run out of the popularist, "cater to the lowest common denominator" type of policies that got him elected - better minds are already reining him in thankfully. Being an egotistical maniac I think he MAY resign at some point when he realises he can't get his own way, throw a twitter tantrum and walk - claiming, as usual, that's it's everyone elses fault. It's at this point that things get really scary.
Pence is a zealous, far right christian. He has the strength of his convictions and the absolute belief that god is behind him and, as a result, he is right. I really don't want someone who believes in the afterlife and that a land of milk and honey awaits us, to have access to nuclear codes.
Unlike the OP I do wish Trump ill - but would take his village-idiocy over evangelical certainty any day of the week.
So yes - he'll resign at some point and then we'll realise just how lucky we've been.

Not sure Mikey - I don't believe any presidents have been succesfully impeached, and he'd need to act illegally or unconstitutionally - being a first rate window licker probably won't cut the mustard
Equally not sure Smowball - I get the impression that he's more childish (petulant) than stubborn, so I can see him throwing his toys out, walking and blaming everyone else - just as soon as the going gets really tough and he starts to lose public support

Mothy....We shouldn't forget the ignominious end that Nixon had.
He was threatened with almost certain impeachment. With all his political support gone, he finally had no option but to resign.
I am not saying that Trump is near to this situation....far from it, and he isn't anywhere as good a President as Nixon was, in his earlier days.
But great oaks from little acorns grow, so I hope the pressure is kept up, because who knows....maybe he will leave before the 4 years is up.

As this is in chatterbank I'll just say what I think, or don't think, I don't think it will happen, I even remember seeing on one of the numerous reports during his first few days in office how he said he'll be there for 8 years - as for the illegal bit did they not say it was illegal for Trump to put a blanket ban on Syrian refugees and refugees from other 6 countries. All this talk of US politics, I still don't know how it works, I just wish he wasn't president, I don't think I could listen to more of that going around caucuses thing again though
The public will turn on him eventually. When the jobs he promised don't appear. He's making up policies of the top of his head that are not realistic and he's not listening to his advisers who will soon have enough of the idiot. He reminds me of Hitler and how he got rid of people if they didn't do what he said, they get the boot becouse he's never wrong.I don't know how the mans got the time to be president,he spends most of his time on twitter.
