I'd have thought Iceland was more likely.
You are not cold when you have double glazing.
It is a direct selling term Weecalf. When potential sales were being scrutinised a deal that looked likely was a "Hot" prospect and one that was considered to be a non starter was deemed to be "cold". Now as the sales people tried new tactics to generate business, one of them being a call out of the blue to an unknown potential client, or to a deal previously thought to be a non starter, it was literally a "cold" call
My reaction to them is pretty cold too
