Personally I wouldnt live in Scotland anyway. Judging by most of the Scottish contributors on here they are a right sour faced miserable bunch.

That made me laugh out loud. I know many Scots who have an excellent sense of humour. At least they are not bad-mouthing the English and England at every opportunity.

It's only a small percentage of people that will pay more tax but they will most likely still be better off than staying south of the border as they still get free prescriptions, free uni, etc. I'm pretty sure council tax is also a lot less on average up here aswell.
Aye it does get a bit cold here some times but ive got plenty £20 notes to burn in my fire place to keep warm. :)
