Small Lumps On Roof Of Mouth
10 Answers
I woke up this morning and felt a few small lumps in the roof of my mouth. They don't hurt, but my tongue keeps drifting up there annoying them. Does anyone know what they are? I have a persistent on/off cold for about 6 weeks now so maybe it's something to do with that.

I get them if I eat anything too spicy, doesn't last long after treatment.
Could be small mouth/gum ulcers which can be treated by Bonjela gel being massaged in.
.....you could always make an appt and ask a nurse at your GPs for advice, or perhaps a chemist to tell you what they recommend for it.
If your really worried about them, and dont feel they are small ulcers, to give you peace of mind, book appointment to see your GP.

Hi again, rocky
It could be to do with your cold you've had for a while, you said, but probably best to check out with a GP or someone in the medical profession, just to ease your mind.
I normally get at least one, after eating a hot curry, which I won't be eating for a while, as last month had a duodenal ulcer bleed and needed emergency treatment in hospital plus recuperation afterwards for about a month.....only on mild Curry's such as Kormas at present.
Good luck, rocky, getting it sorted :-) x

Thanks rocky...x...I'm back to my usual frisky and fit self....Back to work gigging and returned on my radio show on weekday mornings....(have an evening of retro 70's, 80's and 90's soul, jazz funk, and 'disco', starting on Friday early evening.)
Tilly's diagnosis seems spot on, so don't worry, rocky, and GP visit will confirm. x
