Share Price In Annual Report

My son is doing a financial course and he has a question that I can't answer.

He is studying the company ASOS plc, in particular the share price. In their annual report it states:
The market price of ordinary shares at 31 August 2016 was £45.30 (31 August 2015: £29.94) and the range during the year to
31 August 2016 was from £24.73 to £48.32 (year to 31 August 2015: £17.84 to £41.94).

and the EPS quoted seems to back these prices up. But on any financial site the prices look 100 times bigger, eg today it is around £5200. Why is this?

Because prices on the London Stock Exchange are quoted in pence.

Doh, Is it as simple as that? the site I was looking at quoted
GBX 5257.00, and I assumed it was pounds because of the decimal places
