Does anyone know the name of the simple tune we could all play on the piano as kids? Not chopsticks, it is much slower than that and is played within one octave (I think).
It starts with three of the same notes.
I've tried humming it to Shazam but I'm very off key
Thank you for BA, hc!
I only thought of it because the first three notes are the same.
My sister used to play the top part on the black keys and I'd play the bottom part on the white keys, so that it sounded like Les Dawson playing!
This thread has bought back happy memories of killing tunes on the piano - tunes I'd completely forgotten about.
Lovely Les Dawson, how I miss him still
Our neighbour had a pianola which I used to play. It was a huge hulking thing with the rolls in pigeon holes reaching the ceiling. When he died he left everything to my parents and I wanted them to keep the pianola but they wouldn't. :(
Well done GenuinecLAss! Yes Train definitely pinched that tune! I could sing Frank Sinatra, The way you look tonight as well to this tune, same notes, but not all in the same order!
I really must relearn to play using that keyboard i bought a couple of years ago. So want to but can't raise the enthusiasm with other things seeming more entertaining than forcing myself to practice from scratch again. So many things I want to do yet can't seem to get started on. Don't know why.
