For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.Well folloing on that theme, the distance from the centre of one half to the middle and the end is the same. and the distance from the center of the two halves of that half are ....... so then we dont need to measure anything to learn that the length of a piece of string integrated over all the string is the same.
Depends on the velocity of the string relative to the one observing it; especially if it is a G-string. That's 'G' as in 'Gravity' you pirve.

As there are only a finite number of bits of sting of finite length, and an infinite number of bits of sting with a length of 0, on average a piece of stirng has a length of x/infinity - which is approximately zero. This means that the piece of string holding my trousers up is only approximatly there --- OOOps!
