Janet And John Go On Holiday.

Episode One.....
Janet and John usually holiday with a group of friends. This year the friends had to drop out which left Janet and John holidaying together.

What could go wrong?

Well, Storm Doris for a start......and a mysterious suitcase and "medical emergency" on the plane which led to some hours spent sitting in a rocking plane on the runway......they drank wine......

Janet and John had researched well and booked a two bedroom apartment in an area of the city they loved......an expensive area but the description and photos looked lovely.....and they were happy to pay for the location.....they toasted their future holiday with wine.......

Janet and John arrived at the apartment......not as snazzy as the photos and blurb had suggested but very okay......they opened wine......

Episode Eight.

Sunday: John receives an email from Joan. Joan goes back on his offer and tells John that "maybe" the workmen won't work for the next week and "maybe" we will be okay in the now part demolished apartment for the rest of our holiday.

John finds the phone number of the big boss man and has words.

Janet has to google many of the words John is having with the big boss man.......

See Janet say......Oh dear......and wonder if her internet search history is being revealed to the Guardia Civil........... :-(

Oh dear !, can John swear in fluent Spanish.
Anyhoo are the builders going on strike or something next week.

Does Janet know that it's seven years bad luck for breaking a mirror.

Episode Nine.

Monday: The "maybe" they won't work workmen arrive at 9am.
John has more words with big boss.
Joan arrives at 9.30 to move Janet and John to a beautiful, quiet apartment.

Joan is in a hurry and doesn't want Janet to give him a tour of the apartment from hell to see all that is wrong with it.

Joan follows Janet around the apartment making notes.

Joan then carries Janet's luggage through the streets. He arrives at the new apartment still cheery.....but slightly knackered........
