Hi, can anyone tell me how to do a copy of a dvd using my computer i have a build in dvd player and cd what software do i need .....and can i get it for FREE?
where do i begin!!!

Firstly, lets assume that the DVD your copying is NOT copyright protected, You need to make sure that your DVD drive can write DVD's then you will need a blank DVD-R disc and at least 9gigs of free space.
Programs like DVD shrink, Clone DVD and Any DVD are good at copying and have good user interfaces. I tend to use DVD shrink as you get to keep more of the original data. A good reliable burning ROM is essential too (Nero 6.12).

Sounds like you need different hardware though - you have a dvd player and a cd burner, which will need to be upgraded to a dvd burner - try komplett for cheap burners - and then software like nero or roxio (to copy dvds) and dvdshrink to break encryption
