It's an interesting day isn't it......if you look further than thinking it's a.....look at me I'm a woman.....day.

Members of my family are taking part in events that are extremely interesting........celebrating the lives of woman who campaigned for us to be able to be the women we are today.
Discussing what it's still like today to be working in an area that is still thought to be "men's work"...and by that I don't mean mainly manual work.
They will be encouraging young girls to consider areas of education and work that are still male dominated and that they are often discouraged from exploring....yes still.

As I say.....an interesting day.....if you look....x
