Swedish Meatballs
18 Answers
What do you have with yours, if you have them?
They were on offer in Costco and given our family Swedish connection, and the fact we've never had them, I'm going to give them a go this week.
I'm going to make a savoury cream sauce and add a bit of either cranberry or blackcurrant jam, and serve it on top of mash...unless someone comes up with something better.

I make spaghetti and a spicy tomato and onion sauce, fry off the meatballs separately and serve on top of spag. and sauce, sprinkled with grated cheese. Delish!
Remember the old song 'On top of spaghetti, All covered with cheese, I lost my poor meatball, When somebody sneezed.. It rolled off the table and onto the floor - and then my poor meatball, Rolled out of the door!' Lidl do good Swedish meatballs by the way. :)

I usually do this recipe. Sometimes replacing the meatballs with the premade ones. It's a favourite in this house.
