1999-2002 Bank Account In My Name My Grandmother Made Me

My grandmother when I was born opened a savings account of some sort for me when I was either 21 years of age or can I take the money out now I'm 18 I have names DOB DOD my passport I'm wondering how is the easiest way claim the cash.. can I go to the bank and try find is there a number I can call..

i dont think this is the same issue FF - in the first q it was the great grandmother who had left him something. Now it's the grandmother who opened a savings account for him - 2 separate issues

If you are right, bednobs, then the best advice for lucky figure seems to be to go to the bank and ask. If there are two accounts-one from grandmother and one from great grandmother then there is a tidy sum to be obtained so it's worth asking
