Just seen on tv programme "This morning" On tomorrow show April Ashley is on. Was she the first sex change ?

Don't know if he/she was the first....but certainly the first most high profile!!

They said first ever transexual but there was that other woman,something cossey or something she was quite high profile too!

As above , not the first , but the most high profile. Married A lord I believe. I knew him/her, name as I remember George Jamieson. live in Teynham Cresent Norris Green Liverpool, I lived in the same road, and he went to school with my older brother. Once seen her when she came back to see her sister who still lived there, arrived in a Rolls Royce.
