Serves me right for not realising but ... What a rip off...

OH has a big 0 birthday coming up and he wanted to see The Mouse Trap in London so I duly went on-line to get a couple of tickets and the cheapest I could get was £61 each. Paid that and the booking fee of £1.45 and the tickets arrived today. Face value £47.50 so I paid £123.45 for tickets that cost £95

Not doing that again.

Buenchico, I gather a lot of coach parties keep The Mousetrap gong; but they won't book an entire theatre so there will usually be seats still available on the day.
Three Blind Mice is the only Christie story never to have been published in the UK, although it was published in the US. Christie decided to gift the royalties for her play to her grandson. Little did she know that the play would still be running 65 years later. He must be a rich guy by now.
Never mind Cassa, just forget about the money now, avoid the spoliers and have a great time in London.

I love a London trip with a meal in the crypt at St Martins in the Fields Church, followed by a show. Go out for breakfast in the morning and a walk by the river, great times.
jackdaw, dont be sad about not seeing it - i am also a massive christie fan but in honesty, it was toataly boring with very stilted dialogue, all set in the same room etc. Perhaps when i saw it it was just rubbish actors?
had Richard Attenborough left the cast by then, bednobs?
So , did the Butler's great, great, great, grandson do it ?
