... I could possibly have lived with an oily (but spotty) calf ...

... but Betnovate as hair gel smells awful

that's the thing, wearing specs in the shower isn't easy. Put different-coloured stickers on the things you'll be reaching for.

i once sprayed a fly with hairspray by mistake, it stuck together and floated down eventually.

I always found fly spray thoroughly ineffective. Hair spray is much better; it glues their wings so after a while they just drop.

Emmie......I now have a big ribbon on my spray glue......having used it twice on my hair by mistake..... :-(

In the hotel that we have been in recently the hot / cold switch in the shower was very sensitive with the slightest movement it changed for warm to scalding. Now as I sat on the bidet I caught the control with my elbow but to my immense relief I was just temporarily chilled.
