For what it's worth, as far as I know, there are no written rules on fairness, decency, consideration etc. either. Not the fault of those answering, especially when then source is not mentioned. Probably should be up to the the Quizmail setters to emphasize a few guidelines on etiquette. It really does spoil the fun of the thing to know that while you are using your knowledge, books, internet research skills etc to answer a question, someone has already posted the answer...
I used to do Quizmail long before the advent of the internet and we found the answers by research in reference books and using the library. We got a good deal more fun out of doing it that way and getting together to discuss our answers as a team .
I don't mind answering any questions but when you get jumped on by self appointed monitors then you get a bit wary and I bite back..
These pedantic people annoy me slightly ..sometimes ..and we are only human ..I don't always read posts throroughly and make a boob. Then there are those who go through posts with a fine tooth comb pointing out peoples misdemeanors.I usually try and avoid anything headed Quizmail unless they just want a nudge in the right direction !!
Please remember that awful Dkeyse person !!! I should hate to be tarred with his brush.
