I think the circumstances would be when under a brainwashing session.

All the first three seems to be of equal value. I don't believe anyone has the right to claim someone is wrong if they refuse to change already carefully planned arrangements. It seems out of place with the other options.

I used to have a cousin who lived in California. She told me that all her friends and neighbours were exquisitely polite, especially to strangers, because in California strangers are too often armed, and if they feel insulted, may just shoot you. That is an expensive but essential lesson to learn - for California.
