Well it seems like only yesterday that we were starting last years meeting. I have had a scan of the papers and web sites and have picked my horses for a little punt. The ones that I have marked * I will be putting in a Lucky 15 and I will do the first 6 choices in a Placepot and Jackpot tote bet. The pick in the last race is either a get out punt or an enhancement of the success already enjoyed(fat chance). Well, a day of nearly, but not quite. Each way bets on Air Horse One, Minella Rocco and Coo Star Sivola (2 of them freebies) means that i just about broke even, once again - which probably means that i have broken even over the whole of the 4 days. Though had Charli Parc placed in the first, i would've had the placepot which paid over £1,600:-(. All disappointment will be forgotten if The Clarets can pick up their first away win of the season tomorrow up at Sunderland. Up The Clarets!

Well another shocker, at least I was consistent over the 4 days. Put it to bed for another year and hope to be around for next year. Midlands National tomorrow at Uttoxeter so I suppose I am compelled to take a peep. Keep the faith you punters, it always comes around to your turn.

Had a small bet on Champagne Classic in the 4.50 and had Theinval in the last e/w so not such a bad final day, well done all of you who managed to find a winner this week.
