I must admit to being a bit OCD when it comes to emails~I have a few folders,Storage,BT,Norton,Amazon etc.My Inbox never has e~mails sitting in it,they are either stored or deleted.(and quickly)
On the other hand my OH has hundreds of new ,and older ,and old mails sitting in his inbox. He doesn't really know who they are from,or what they are about.I have been known to turn his PC on, and delete the really old ones (just don't tell him, he hasn't realised)
So,are you good at keeping your e~mails cleared,or are you like my OH, an e~mail hoarder?

I'm dreadful at work. I have over 10,000 read emails in my inbox. Mind you I often pull up old ones for reference or proving something to somebody!

I have a few in my inbox, waiting for me to make a new folder. The others I tend to go through every now and then and delete all the old ones.
It's odd. I am a hoarder in real life, but I go through my emails every few days to delete the ones I don't need. My OH, who is the opposite of a hoarder, has thousands of old emails. I go through them sometimes to get rid of the really old ones, but it's too big a job to go through them all. He gets so many.
For some reason lately my iPad has been telling me my email system is overloaded and I am in danger of losing my emails. I have to delete all trash every other day. It is nowhere as full as it used to be though. This has been happening for a few weeks now. A bit annoying but you've got to go with the flow.
I tidy mine up about once a week, or just when I feel like it. That's sort of how I handle my real house too, I suppose. I probably get between 20 and 50 a day, which isn't a huge amount, and I usually look at the non-spam and non-promotion ones on the day.

I go through mine every other day, I'm retired so nothing is that urgent. Delete the rubbish, reply where it's needed and stick what ever is needed into appropriate folder.
