Scratching bitch

My bitch is scratching all the time and pulling clumps of hair out with it. She is also 3 quarters way through a season. Anyone had similar experience of this? She is clear of fleas by the way.

my old alsation bitch used to do this at that time of her season don't know why and was always round her nipples.
i put a pet healing cream on it from pet shop which used to clear up any soarness and put a t-shirt on her so she couldn't get to them.

She may have developed canine excema or something similar. Best to see the vet and get her checked out. Poor dog must be feeling really miserable with it, especially in the hot weather.

My dog does the same.Last years she had bald patches all over her body. The vet tested her for mites, mange, fleas you name it,but, he found nothing. Over the winter I thought she was growing out of it but, june hit and so did her time to go in season and she is biting lumps off her fur off again. the vet saws its in her head but, i don't like to see her so distressed. Advice given suggests having her dressed to kill hormones.Am doing so this weekend. will keep you posted.
