Momentum alleged to be joining with the Unite union to ensure Labour becomes a more left wing party:-

is this really a threat to the labour party's electability? or just the party returning to its true roots which will reinvigorate them and sweep Jeremy Corbyn to power?

I don't think Corbyn will ever be electable but they can try.
Corbyn is too left for majority UK public approval but it needed to swing back from right wing Blairism. Just needs to row back a bit to pick up votes. It remains to be seen what affect unions can have to counteract Labour election problems.

Corbyn and electable in the same sentence, Wow!!!
They really don’t get it. The majority of the electorate don’t want what they’re offering. Even Labour moderates don’t want what they’re offering. Their politics belong to a bygone age. The world has moved on.
Hopefully Len McCluskey gets beaten in the forthcoming Unite election.
I think the point of this alleged move is to ensure that Corbyn's successor is from the hard left. I think even they realise that the man himself is not going to be there for much longer - certainly not beyond the next election.
Corbyn's mission is to provide a genuine alternative to credible government. It's all going to plan.

those mps who fall into that category probably no longer represent the views of the party, or what it's set to become. they will almost certainly be deselected before the next election.
Great! Perpetual opposition then!
