Well my landland has given up the ghost so need a new very loud amplified phone - the old ones - not the mobiley types.

Also with the clear display. bought one from amazon today and not suitable - can't hear on it at all. thanks to all who look.

I dumped a big land line with huge numbers only the other day, I'm sure you don't need to read that, I couldn't find anyone who would be interested in it, I never thought of selling it

Can you return the Amazon phone, jj. And get one from elsewhere, maybe a BT shop would stock them.

it is not the big buttons it extra loud i need. last time i bought these units i went to sensory shops so i think i need to find out where. when you buy online - you cant "hear" them to see if they are suitable.

will try and ring my old social worker from yonder and see if he is knocking about and see if he can help me. thanks all
