My nephew (nice lad, beard, metrosexual) has been in town for a conference - so we've been out for a pint - or actuallly a mojito in his case.

He was regaling me with his latest "relationship destroying faux pas" (he's had a few) - apparently using your girlfriend's rabbit to stir the bechamel sauce is not acceptable in polite society ...

... even if it switching it on does remove the lumps ...

BM....what concerns me is that I can't, for the life of me, remember why I was making meringue in his garden...... :-(
Well that's hare raising!! : )
in olden times, boiling bunnies was a relationship deterrent, but that's the 1980s for you.
I'd like to think it was because the kitchen was too hot Gness, and not because he had banned you from being in a place where there were sharp things.........
I think Dave's nephew is spot on....these days with smaller houses and less storage we need multi-task tools and bits of equipment.......x
I have a feeling your second guess could be right, BM... :-(
he probably considered the likely fallout of gness whisking meringues and thought she was safer in the garden
