Just had a natter with my neighbour......she spent Saturday afternoon bag packing in a supermarket with her Scouts....and.....they raised £1,000!........

Isn't that fantastic?.....I know there are grumps who don't want the kids packing their groceries but some folk will grump for the sake of it....

I think it's so good, isn't it..........

The Scouts.........instead of just hanging around.... give up a weekend to raise funds to do something exciting in the future......and the adult are there to encourage them....bliss......x

We sometimes have local kids football clubs doing the same thing in a supermarket local to me ( usually from about 8 to 12 years of age ), they seem to do quite well out of it.
