Good Morning Early Birds!

Wednesday. It's raining hard, and non too warm either. Tiggy must have heard me putting his supper out as he came out at a rate of knots for a wee hedgehog, eat the lot in seconds flat, looked up at me as if to say 'Ta squire' and shot off back to bed again. I don't blame him.
I reported a wee job that needed attention to the council, I was given a time tomorrow afternoon. Happy with that. Got a text yesterday morning to say yer wee man will be along in 15 minutes. Just as well I was in! He came, did the job and looked at the gate, which someone had clobbered while I was out, making it look like it had celebrated St. Patrick's day too well, (the post was snapped off below ground level). I made him a a cuppa and said he'd take the post and see if he can get another one. I don't think he will, so it will be a new set of gates. all that went well. In the afternoon I got another text to say Yer wee man will be along in half an hour to do the one job and look at the other. He turned up and was surprised to see the one job done and the other one looked at etc. So I made him a cuppa and we had a good natter. He looked at the gate, now leaning against the fence, and he agreed it would probably mean a new set of gates as those ones are no longer made. It just goes to prove that the council always does things in duplicate! Talk about wasting money!
Have a happy day everyone.
