Artificial Fence Covering Ivy/acer.

Don't recall it mentioned here but has anyone had experience of, or seen used domestically, artificial panels of leaves to cover a fence?

I think it looks rather splendid & if you add an artificial lawn you have a labour saving garden.

Ron.....I had black artificial lawn under where I want this to go.... bits stuck to it and annoyed me.....was forever vacuuming it....so I've now slated it.....x

I'd be interested to hear how you get on. My neighbour's house backs on the the side of another house so she looks out on a brick wall, they complained when she grew ivy on a trellis to cover it, she may be interested in this.

I will let you know, Margo......I'm wondering if the Acer type may look less artificial.....and I'm interested in the extendable ones.....I guess you could make them as sparse or dense as you wish...

I also have a Loch Ness Monster I made from a branch off next door's tree......but I stretched over him today to cut some fern and his horns stuck in my........elbows?......it hurt............ :-(
