I have. Lunch with friends in a riverside restaurant then back home and straight out, into the garden, to do battle with the rapidly growing weeds.

Shirrrup, though we are supposed to have a good weekend, the bloody wild garlic is having a field day, mind you the camelias/azaleas are having a field day. Free tea perhaps coming your way but, given Lord Falmouth and Tregothnan, that I doubt....

I can't believe some of you who live in my neck of the woods saying it's been a beautiful day - endless sunshine yes! but that easterly wind was so strong and flipping freezing it put me off doing any gardening. Maybe my blood's just getting thinner as I near the big 7-0 haha!

I was in the garden all day, Ann.....yes, it was chilly...but a wolly vest and a hip flask helps keep the cold out....x
