Anyone with hay fever at the moment?

I can't decide whether I have a cold or hayfever. Is it the season yet?

If I take a decongestant and an antihistamine together it dries out my nose and throat horribly.
Smow...It creeps up slowly. I never looked at the calendar date when my eyes and nose start streaming.

When I go abroad I've never suffered with it....

Luckily mine isn't too bad. It just means I can't wear mascara, need to carry a tissue, and avoid the park for a bit :-)
Yep mine never affects me abroad either. How odd
Different plants/trees I assume.
I never got hay fever until I moved here. One year I took local honey and I haven't had hay fever since.
Not yet. It's the onset of the asthma that I dread.
I posted earlier before I read AB. I always start sneezing violently in March and have done for a number of years. I have no idea what I am allergic to. I don't take anything for it either, just put up with it.
I suffered with hay fever all my life until about 12 years ago when i read an article about taking a dessert spoon of local honey every day to help the symptoms. Works a treat, no longer take any drugs and only get it very mildly when it is at its very highest reading in the summer months. Well worth a try, must be local honey and takes about 6 months for it to take full effect, so it make not help too much this year, but next year you should be a lot better.
Hmmm that's two posts about local honey x

I have tried local honey in the past. The problem is that, as I don't like honey, I don't sustain it.

Anyway, I have definitely decided that this is a stinking cold, rather than hayfever.

...and waterproof mascara.
As a young man, in my twenties/early thirties, I used to suffer from hay fever but haven't for years now. I presume that I obtained my own immunity and have now grown out of it.

But recall how it used to appear with a vengeance in high summer.....not very nice !
