studying to be a Midwife??

Hi, I've posted a question about being a midwife before but i'd also like to know, at what age can you start studying to be a midwife, i live close to a college that studies nursing etc but the opening day is far away. If anyone knows it'd be a great help.

the royal college but it takes too much to get in there and i just dont have the grades which upsests me cause i know i could be a good midwife.
