106: how much should I be looking to pay for a passenger seat?

a complete f****** idiot managed to burn a huge cigarette hole in my passenger seat and it's gone through the foam and fabric, how much should i expect to pay for a new one and if not one to match, then a whole new set? 2nd hand or not... again my car's a 5 door 1.1 2000reg 106 zest 2. the interior is rare as i've never seen it in another one... grrr! xxx

well my car is a bit older but i shopped around and found a full leather set for �60 it a diff car too, for yours a wouldnt pay any more than 100 for a set and 40 for one singly
You don't need to go to the expense of a new seat - which will probably be about �300 or more from a dealers. Try hunting down your local automotive upholsterer and they should be able to source the matching fabric and mend the seat for you. You might try the yellow pages or look for ads of someone nearby in a classic car mag. Also ask around local places that restore classic cars.
Try some car breakers on the internet. I've bought seats before and reckon you should get a good matching one for �25-�45.
