Monitor Screen Keeps Going Off...

about every hour, even though I have all the screen instructions, like energy saver etc, saying ''Never''. Thanks.

Im on Win 8.1 Firefox.

Will give it a try tomorrow OG, bit late now. Its a new large monitor joined to my laptop.

yes its connected to my laptop, how do I find out that it has its own internal power saving settings?

Your monitor is a laptop ?

Check any buttons/knobs on the monitor. You're looking for something that brings setting info on the screen. One would hope you had control over brightness, contrast, vertical and horizontal position and scale, and distortion and the very least. But all monitors differ, can't give exact instructions.

No OG, I bought a larger monitor for seeing better, and its attached by cable, to my laptop. Thanks

Sometimes re installing the video driver resolves this problem
