what smell or sound reminds you of summer?

its funny how you can tell its sunny by the sounds outside even with blinds shut. my fav sound is waves on a beach and i love the smell of coconut suntan lotion.

I bought some of that 'tanning moisturiser' stuff and it didn't smell when I put it on but once it had dried I kept getting a waft of it thoughout the day and it reminded me of when my mum used to put tanning lotion on her legs when I was a kid and I used to watch. It must be the chemical they use in those sorts of things. :o)

A smell that reminds me of summer though? Fresh cut grass.. coconut lotion... BBQ's :o)

i live on a main road and can tell if its sunny or rainy by the sound of the traffic but i love it when i used to live onthe coast and you can smell the sea in the morning and feel the sun coming through the blinds, and that was only the south west, i'm stranded in the midlands at the moment and its what i miss the most

Newly cut grass, wafting in the breeze....actually I think I got some in the face today, walking through the park, whilst it was being mown - boy was it windy! LOL ;-)

im gonna have to say it ..when i smell the coconut lotion i just want sex on a beach..is it just me...ohhhh all that oil and coconut....mmmmmmmmm think ill have a ...whats that coconut drink again????

The icecream van and shouts of kids in the road running in for some money. Oh and a couple of weeks worth of Ambre Soleire soaked towels still smelling of it even after washing.

i love to smell the freshly cut lawn and hear the kids laughing and screaming while playing outside. it's exciting to hear the kids having fun!

You can almost 'smell' the sun..the air always has a different smell toit when its a summer day, its really strange that! Also, if i use a particular cream whilst on holiday, such as body shop coconut body butter then whenever i smell it again it soo reminds me of my hol and of summertime, and also any hawaian tropic suntan oil reminds me of summer beach holidays, just go into superdrug, open one and sniff, mmm mmm!
