You do actually live in Britain, don't you, jno?
UM, the list is endless,
Not changing thing's to please other people,
Not walking around of fear from the masked invader,
Fish n Chips served by a brit,
Say what you think without the righteous getting on their high horse,
say what you see without the HR Getting involved,
The list is endless.

When I were a lad most of the best chip shops in my area were owned and staffed by Greek Cypriots, but the very best one cooked the chips in dripping in a coal fired range.
The best chip shop near me is ran by Chinese. They don't sell Chinese food though, just the normal stuff you'd get in a chippy.

My mum lives in Wells, Norfolk, and there's a chippy there where people will be queuing down the street. I ate there, it's very average.

So I have to queuing on the list of British culture :-)

It's a shame queueing isn't an Olympic sport.

Did children still dance round the maypole on May Day?
I came to Britain for work, samjenko; I'm an economic migrant. I go elsewhere for pleasure.

As do a lot of native Brits, jno :D
Ah, I gathered you were here under sufferance. (very sad)

O' dear, if you can't find pleasure in everyday life in Britain then that must be your fault. I know plenty of economic migrants and they all seem happy to be here.
