I have just removed a sticker from the inside of my car window and it has left the glue stuck to it. I have tried to rub it off but no luck. Has anyone got any suggestions? Thanks

P.S. I have just tried malt vinegar and that hasn't worked.
Peanut butter will get sticky stuff off.
My son told me this when I had a horrible sticky mess left on something I has peeled a label from. I was amazed that it worked. You can but try.
wd-40 works a treat
I've used nail varnish remover for this before & it worked!

I've also used Johnson's baby oil.

It also works on getting the gluey stuff off your legs after using waxing strips.

A hob scraper...

Marvellous for all kinds of uses, labels from jars, price + info on newly bought products, paint from glass and mirrors, burnt on grease from oven floor, HOBS, tiles, you name it...

Make sure it is a good one; don't buy a cheap plastic one - it should have a replaceable razor blade....It will not scratch or mark surface, if used correctly.

Do you know n00dles, our daughter has one of those hob scrapers & it is absolutely brilliant - I would highly recommend that too.
as before nail varnish remover
I bought some lovely glass candles last week and had the same problem. Found on Home and Garden to use White Spirit. Worked brilliantly .
Metholated spirits or white spirit ?
rubbing alcohol and a cotton ball
I would definitely recommend Sticky Stuff Remover, which you can buy from Lakeland Limited. Excellent stuff!

White spirits will usually remove all self-adhesive type glues but it dries very quickly and may be drying too fast for you to remove the glue easily.
Hand cleaner such as swarfega will also do this well and is water soluble so easy to wash off after use.
Have just remembered two more things you could try.
WD40 and Eucalyptus essential oil.
Oh, and lighter fluid!!
Coat it with olive oil and leave it overnight - it will wipe off like magic.
