Does anyone know of a mobile phone contract for very low use?

I'm looking for a contract for when I start university. I estimate that I'll be looking for something with about 700-800 minutes and somewhere between 50 and 100 texts a month.

Currently I spend less than 10 on it a month, was just wondering if anyone could point me in the direction of something cheap... I was thinking contract / pay monthly only because I've heard the call charges are lower.

personally i wouldn't say 700-800 minutes per month was very low use at all (maybe i am just old but thats 13 hours isnt it?)

Yeah, I worked out about 3 hours a week. I'll have to call home every week :P
Thought the same as Kazza12345 - 700 to 800 mintes per month is NOT low useage!! Probably better off on PAYG f you are only paying 10 per month at present.

I pay loads more than that on contract and don't talk half as much as you do!

Okay lol

Should probably have checked out the average uses before I posted here, was presuming I don't use my phone much as all my friends pay a lot more than me!
Stay with pay as you go. Maybe the calls are cheaper on a contract, but you will spend less with pay as you go because you'll only make calls when you can afford to. Keep a bit of credit on it so people can reach you.

I'm sure there'll be a payphone in you hall of residence. If your parents have BT Option 2 they can call you for free on the landline in the evenings and at weekends, or they can call your mobile with 25% discount with BT CallMobile.

Mobiles for Everyone Website are offering a Nokis 6280 witj 12 months halpf price rentals so its 17.50 plus VAT. This includes 700 minutes / 250 texes and some other stuff
