Three old pro golfers in the Royal Aberdeen GC bar, old Ryder Cup friends, Dai Rees, Eric Brown and Christy O'Connor (uncle to the more current Christy O'Connor) are having a drink after a social round.

Eric Brown says to the others, "Hey, that's Red Adair over there, the guy that puts out oil fires.

Rees says, "No it's not."

Christy says, "Nnnnnnnnnooooooooohhhhhhhh snot........he don look
anyfing like Red Adair." (Sadly this joke is rather lost because it is hard doing an Irish impediment in type)

So Eric Brown goes over and says, "Excuse me, are you Red Adair, the oil fire expert.?"

Red answers, "Sure am partner."

After buying him a Bourbon on ice, Eric goes back and tells the others that it is Red Adair.

Dai says, "No it's not."

Christy O'Connor says, "Nnnnnnnnnooooooooohhhhhhhh snot........he don look anyfing like Red Adair."

So Dai goes over and says, "Excuse me, are you Red Adair, the oil
fire expert?"

Red answers, "Sure am partner."

So, another Kentucky on the rocks, Dai goes back and tells the others that it is Red Adair.

Christy ays, "Nnnnnnnnnooooooooohhhhhhhh snot, to be sure........he don look anyfing like Red Adair."

So off he goes goes over and says" Oy, Mista.............You Red Adair and I'll buy you a Jamieson's?"

Red answers, "Sure am partner."

Drinks served, Christy says, "You still dance with Ginger Rogers?"

My favourite solo Fred Astaire dance is to You're All the World to Me in The Royal Wedding its where he dances on the walls and ceiling.
For a fred and ginger dance its has to be Pick Yourself Up – Swing Time Fred is as suave as he ever has been with his tuxedo and tap shoes and Ginger is dripping with sex appeal
