Ooops. I dropped my camara in a swimming pool today. i fished it out instantly. its now in the airing cupboard. Will it ever work again?

I washed my mobile in the washing machine! It took a while to dry but eventually it was ok!

Airing cupboard is fine for now, but you need to get it to the repairer asap - the chemicals won't have done it any good.

Bloke I knew dropped his new mobile phone in a chemical toilet, dried it on a radiator, then when it still wouldn't work, took it back to the shop. The woman there opened it up and it was all chemical-ised inside. He played innocent and got a replacement, so what story you tell the shop/insurance company is up to you.
