every time i switch on the computer this box comes up which i have to click on , then another box appears which then counts down before clearing itself ,is it anything serious .

Gonna need a bit more info here! It seems "PC Doc Pro" is a program to fix errors on your computer. If you don't want it or need it you can probably uninstall it from Control Panel --> Add/Remove Programs.
It's a long shot, but at a guess I'd say the box that comes up says it's going to update from the internet, the update completes and then the countdown says "All updated, closing in 30 seconds". If this isn't the case, please post the text that appears in the box and I'll stop my random guessing!!!!
