My two have been relatively healthy apart from Frankie's asthma.
I don't really mind paying a reasonable price for peace of mind but £600 is a huge amount to pay out. I can't see a situation arise where I would be unable to pay for treatment.
My vet is an old practice and is very reasonably priced. There isn't a high turnover of vets (I take this as a good sign) and they give a choice of different treatments (as a doctor will often do) and allow the cat-slave to feel that they have input.
Sorry to change your thread from car insurance to cat insurance hc.
I am off to try and medicate a snarling wannabe Tiger.
I have all my pets insured the cats are all on one policy and that is £25 a month
The dogs have their own policy and that is £26 a month each, with the youngest one I had to claim for £700 of xray's within the first month of owning him so to me its worth every penny.
