Wherther they're 30 year olds with beards remains to be seen. I'm sure the tabloid journos with their telephoto lenses will be on hand when they arrive.

We all know that these fighting-aged men aren't "children." We're under attack from our own government and they know very well that there's little we can do about it. In fact, if you complain too loudly, they can simply throw you in jail on a "hate crime"
Are we even being governed by our government (who are there, supposedly, to look after us), or are they taking orders from the Deep State? Are they merely window dressing?
Donald Trump got into power partially on the grounds that the USA won't get involved in more overseas wars, yet he flip-flopped on that issue, telling the lie about Bashar Al Assad using chemical weapons on his own people. A lie that hardly anyone believed, and proof that the USA isn't governed from the White House

I must have misread it. I read that we had already taken the number that we agreed to under Dubs, that was a done deal: it was just that when the number of local council offers were checked it turned out we could have offered to take more nationally, but had managed not to. But now we have increased the offer, for no obvious reason.
Will the cash strapped Councils take them in, or perhaps Lord Dubs will reach into his pocket and help them out?
This from the Daily Mail dated Oct 2016.
/// At least one in four cash-strapped councils is said to be refusing to take lone child migrants from the Jungle camp in Calais because of a row over funding. ///

/// Rudd appealed to local authorities to come forward and volunteer to take more children under the Dubs amendment, saying there were not yet enough places. One of the councils that has refused to take any lone children from Calais is Windsor and Maidenhead council, which covers Theresa May’s constituency. ///
According to the magazine Children and Young People Now, three of the nine regional local authority areas have not signed up to the national transfer scheme under which the Dubs amendment children will be housed in Britain. The Home Office has refused to reveal which regions have not signed up but Leicestershire county council became the latest to refuse to take part.

all i see is men of unverifiable background ie criminals etc and probably uneducated also from a misogynist culture, these cretins will be put on sme kind of benefit and housed rent paid etc etc some will say at least they have a roof over their heads, plenty of homeless brits and unemployed, now here's the rub...they will be allowed to send for their families.. eventually if im correct, who will have the same qualites as there beared 20 or 30yr old something child, and of course thye will all have health conditions of one kind or another, all will be on benefits for life, if they were actual children toddlers preteens etc i may think different as there are plenty of willing people who want to adopt children and not bearded men.
