I recall an interview on Radio with a member of the Monster Raving Looney Party. When asked .." What do you think of the polls" He replied ... "I have nothing against them, but I do feel that they should stay in their own country".
They are the ones doing the polls. The mood of people re Brexit seems an important issue.
I daresay they frame their questions as neutrally as they can, ie not
"Brexit's been a disaster, hasn't it?"
- or even, "How much are you looking forward to Our Own Laws, are Own Borders, Our Own Turnip?"
That is all very interesting - but it is still a minority, if I read it right. I can scarcely believe that the EU's 'Project Fear', bully-boy tactics have had this effect. What has happened to the backbone of this country? If anything, the actions of EU leaders since Brexit has convinced me that my 'leave' vote was true and important. Something is seriously wrong with our youngsters I think. It needs addressing.
EU masters are being nastier than they should be, t.b.h., which shows the pettiness and vulnerability of the EU.. We can be useful friends and trading partners - they seem to want to turn us into enemies. THEIR CHOICE. We don't want to be in the power of people like that.
We should be pulling together -that we are not is a sad indictment. Perhaps we should re-invoke the wartime laws about spreading despondencey and succouring the enemy? The Remoaners have done enough damage already by encouraging the EU elite i.m.o.p..
Mamya, I do the YouGov polls as well and I don't remember being asked that question. If I had I would probably have given the wrong answer. What about you?
