Many thanks everyone - I thought it must refer to the monopoly board but the square between parking and chance is Strand i.e. not The Strand and anyway wrong number of letters - need to be 9. I have actually written Whitehall but can't check as I've given our board away along time ago !! I know there are other Chance squares but what comes before them ? Thanks for your patience !!

The Angel Islington, Euston Road and Pentonville Road are Blue
pall Mall, Whitehall and Northumberland Avenue are purple
Bow Street, Marlborough Street and Vine Street are Orange
The Strand, Fleet Street and Trafagar Square are Red
leicester Square. Coventry Street abd Piccadilly are yellow
Regent Street, oxford Street and Bond Street are Green
Park Lane and mayfair are dark blue
