would it not have been fair for the government to give the good people a chance to change their mind on Brexit ..Why was an election called after it was made official Britian was leaving ,giving the people no second chance to decide after the way Brexit has been handled .

Changed her mind about what ? Holding a General Election ? What has that got to do with the established desire of the majority to want to get out of the European Union, save as a feeble excuse for some Remainers to moan again in a futile attempt to have their view forced on the country, despite having lost (and refusing to accept having lost) the referendum ?

The (then) government most certainly did not want a “Leave” result. It was the last thing they wanted and so confident were they that “Remain” would prevail that no plans whatsoever were laid to cope with it.

that would be the House of Lords as well would it ?”
Yes it would, Peter. The HOL voted on March 13th to approve the Government’s Bill to invoke A50.
So back to the question, I’m not quite sure how the two issues are connected. The referendum is done. The question has been answered. Nothing has changed to require it to be asked again. Meanwhile the Prime Minister has called a General Election with the almost unanimous agreement of the Commons because that’s what Prime Ministers do.
