So Not Too Good For Labour But Are Local Elections Really Indicitive Of A General Election?

And is it not possible that Tory voters may get complacent and not turn up to vote or labour voters are stirred to get to the polling booth?
I think only one thing can be sure. UKIP are finished. Two Martini's for Mickey tonight!

All sorts of things can happen - complacent Tory vote and resurgent Labour vote, to name but two. Generally speaking I think that they indicate a decent Tory majority (not a landslide, which I would deplore).
Re: UKIP I would probably vote for them again, if they field a candidate, just to remind Mrs. May of the strength of feeling. I suspect that most Ukip voters will vote Conservative just to ensure Brexit.........they now feel reasonably sure that T.M. is a safe bet.
Next election ---- who knows?
